I think almost all my current rock listening enjoyment is all about reminiscing.
Well I used to have only a few tapes but I had all the guns n roses stuff so was listening to it a lot since I was 7 or 8. I always wondered why they bothered with that mr brownstone guy

All the guns n roses albums
That was it till I was much much older and started buying music (15 ish)
I was subjected to queen by my mother and bloody Wings and men at work by my father periodically. Child abuse if you ask me, shame the authorities at the time seemed not to agree
These days I listen to loads of different genres, but not much of the stuff of my youth from those tapes.
