Greetings fellow members

I am a lifelong audio affectionado and an audio electronics engineer.

After a decade of design and production experience in korea, Im now proud to say I finally have a brand of my own that I feel is worthy of showcasing to the world.

That brand is SONOCUS (click for link)

Im by no means yet an expert in circuit conception. However I do feel that I have achieved some level of extreme standard in pcb design and machine layout and it is here where my products showcase their inate potential.

My preamps are simple gainstages minus bells and whistles but they are designed with text book perfect circuit layout everywhere you look.

Thus the performance and the sound of my preamps are as good as anything out there and at their price point they are true giant killers.

Im currently working on a headphone amp conversion of this preamp and also a tube linestage utilizing thoroughly modern techniques.

In the near future i hope to send the aforementioned headphone to Amir for evaluation.

I hope you take interest in my journey and if purchased perhaps find as much joy in my machines as i did designing them.

Currently SONOCUS 526 is available for order and they are assembled and shipped from Cambodia worldwide, while most of the machine components minus the pcb material (can't beat jlcpcb!) is sourced from Korea.

Thank you for your time and regards,

Eric

Hi guys this is the sample version of the said amp.

Dual mono linear supply,
Triple filtered psu,
modular output,
All conforming to a fine tuned perfectionist layout.

The sound is as good as expected and some more. Its dead quiet, solid dynamics and the vast soundstage simply makes the headphones disappear. Never did I know my AKG701 could sound like this.

At its planned pricepoint ($399) I think you might be looking at a real giant killer.

Ill be sending a unit to Amir in the near future and also expect user reviews to start appearing meanwhile.
