Could you post some songs where this happens?

And please include a picture of your speakers.

How are you using the Eminence ASD 1001B? Which horn attachment are you using?

Recording quality ?

Have you listened to the same recording on hifi systems and did not hear 'grainy' voices ?

p.s mainly use them in the house so they rarely go to max power level ,most of the time i use them at 50% max level or below so i have a lot of headroom

Recording quality ?

no but, if i connect only the bas speaker through the crossover it sounds clear on voice, also if i connect the bas speaker directly to the amp full range i get clear voice that is what is puzzling to me ,that i get this grainy sound only on the high drivers brand new and i get it on both of them , i had the same problem with my old high drivers

I would think "grainy" means distortion, and if so, it would be most audible via the treble speaker.
Assuming you haven't somehow damaged the treble speakers, and assuming the source content can be shown to be relatively free of distortion, the you are getting analogue or digital clipping or the addition of some noise that is interfering at treble frequencies, or possibly a sample-rate or bit-depth conversion that is going wrong (or maybe multi-channel to stereo).
I'm not clear from the original post, but it sounds like the source material is going into a TV - can you plug headphones directly into the TV's analogue output and listen for the distortion? Or even listen via the TV's speakers to see if it's there too. Point being, you need to devise tests to try to isolate where the problem is coming from, and eliminate where it's not happening. Having said that, my money is on the Behringer overloading the Crown input. Are you using XLR or RCA to the Crown? It could be one of those devices is damaged, or just nasty!

[edit - This looks likes studio gear being used to play TV sound - is that a bit of over-kill? A low-cost streamer with an HDMI input from the TV should work more than well enough. Also, it's not beyond belief is that your crossover inductors are saturating if playing at volume - worth checking]

well i tried taking the tv out of the ecuation using an hdmi extractor same result , also tried sending audio from my phone in to the crown directly using a cable jack-rca but got the same results, tried even using a preamplifier that has Bluetooth conection then exiting analog to the crown same result,so i tried already basically bypassing everiting and still it sound's grainy and at low volume too ,by this i mean even if i turn the input signal to the amp to below 50% , and my crown's signal input led the green ones barely blink ,i still get the same result it is kind of a distortion but more of a static sound ,like when you have an electrical wire that is not making a perfect connection , and it is very annoying because it is a thin refined kind of distortion , and to answer your question no i have not dameged the drivers in no way and my signal is not too hot it is not clipping on any of the devices, not even close to clipping... i will try to make a video see if i can catch it on the phone mic and camera

OK, it's hard to make guesses at distance, and visualise your testing.
What I think I'm hearing is that when you use the phone's headphone-out socket directly into the crown (with absolutely no other active gear attached) you still hear the noise. Is there a way of trying that setup with different speakers? If you still hear the noise, then it must be down to the crown or the wiring to it. (I assume if you play the same material on the phone, and plug headphones in to it, it sounds fine, therefore eliminating phone and source material). Also try the rig on a different mains socket (a different ring circuit if you have those) in case the noise is main-borne.

oh so you are thinking maibe it is the wall main power giving out high frequency distortion emi/rfi,yeah will try to plug the rig directly to another wall socket ,i haven' t done that yet from what i know i only have 2 wires coming out of my wall socket so i do not have a ground if that is what you are suggesting,oh and i also tried ferite beads on all the cables both power and signal cables i attached to them ferite beads but no results

maybe a video as to what , grainy voice is sounding like , do at least few minutes with some commenting as grainy voice could be anything and use the what ever source it was that caused , grainy voice as i also have the DEQ 2496 there might be an answer , ( video only ) as this site is about science

i tried recording, watch for the voice in specialy when the voice is raised and also on the vocal backround there is a fainth distorsion, hope u can hear it through the phone microphone,it is a movie dialog from "the boys" on prime but the effect is the same no matter the source

where's the video i can't see any posted video ?

grainy so not like grain rice , but i think more like a static hiss like rough like ? got get that video up at least few minutes , go though how you have the audio-sound-chain connected and in the video disconnect the DEQ 2496 and connect direct to source , ( get the idea ) there maybe a culprit that is producing the noise ?

additional , also do a silent with no source audio , can you still hear the noise , get up close good quality ( and please keep the video landscape )

You can't. They are too big.

You will need to put it on. youtube or similar then post a link.
