They increase in length I see but you have height, tweeter height is needed.

"According to the report, the Netherlands is still the world’s tallest nation with the average height in the country for men 183.78 cm, or 6 foot, and 170.36 cm, or 5 foot 7 inches for women."

Edit:
Far-fetched the idea of height placement of tweeter, I'm aware of that. Anyway, you are tall.:)

Solder from the 1970s. Dangerous to use?Inhaling those vapors? There's a lot of lead in such solder, isn't there?

The smoke coming from solder is the flux inside the solder. After handling leaded solder it is probably best not to lick your fingers or eat your bread without washing your hands. Just bought 3 rolls of leaded solder.

I must say, for its size, it is a very innovative country, at least in the fields i know a little better.

I used to think, when i was living in Germany, that the Netherlands is how i expected Germany to be before i moved there :D. What a decption  (joking, i love Germans so much i have two at home, two!, and only one subwoofer, for reference)

I think sound and HiFi history is interesting so I saw this:

Experience the development of technology
The development of science and technology has produced many thousands of Philips products. The Philips Historical Products exhibition shows the development of the product groups with sometimes unique, often working devices. As a visitor you get a good idea of the historical heritage of Philips from its foundation in 1891.

In addition to the Philips Historical Products exhibition at Looyenbeemd 24, the Philips Museum at Emmasingel in Eindhoven is also open to visitors."

Interesting:

Edit:
Interesting, for me to read about, outside my division in terms of price::)

"Current street price for a pair of these speakers is approximately $ 12,500 USD."

It's because of Bruno Putzeys, who is ironically Belgian.
Bruno Putzeys, Co-Founder
Inventor of UcD (Philips), probably still the most widely used class-D amplifier for upmarket audio products. Inventor of Ncore (Hypex), which is generally considered the first class-D amplifier to successfully compete with class-A on audio performance. Developed high performance A/D and D/A converter designs for Grimm and Mola-Mola. Co-founder for Kii Audio. Holds 9 patents and multiple patent disclosures.

A list here of Nederland based audio companies;

JSmith
From that list, I saw that a domain was for sale. A bang on beetroot name:
capsandcoils.com

"There’s an expression in Swedish that I’ve often wondered about where it comes from. The expression - ‘bang on the beetroot’ - bang on the beetroot. It's a weird idiomatic expression that in its earlier meaning, referred to getting straight down to penetrative sex without any foreplay. However, today it is used to describe any situation in which we get straight down to it, for example in a meeting, in a discussion, in a conflict."

Before, I was a little skeptical of class D amp as a full register amp. The usual (now prejudice), class D is only suitable as a sub amplifier but it has now changed. Really changed.:)

Since Belgium has been added, why not adding their little brother Luxembourg to complete the benelux? ;)
Good idea! But the start post is now locked for editing (that possibility is given for.. hm ..X number of hours).

Of course HiFi from " little brother Luxembourg to complete the Benelux" can be included in the thread. The thread is mostly meant to be fun and inspiring. What or which countries are included is not carved in stone. In addition, the Benelux makes sense.:)

Edit:
I was wrong, it was open for editing, now changed. :)
