Hi I need a good DAC for headphones with microphone for phone calls and Android
So a simple 3.5 to USB converter would be OK?
Ugreen 3.5 to USB is TRRS(CTIA/OMTP) Hi-Res 32bit/384kHz 110dBFS and with extra port for USB-C so for charging or I can plug something extra with USB for 15€
I tried Maono 300X and there were some constant noise I plugged into 3.5 headphones jack on microphone. There were less noise on Android then on PC
But I have 10m USB cable with active amplifier so that make some noise and I guess original cable from Sennheiser HD 598 is not shielded with foil properly ?
I already have Ugreen basic TRS but connecting TRRS cable From Bose QC25 with inline mic just for test make a constant noise. And headphones are way too loud I put audio on 2 and is loud like 80 on 3.5. Is there problem with every 3.5 to USB like this?
I read online best DAC or 3.5 to USB are with TRS for no noise but microphone have to be TRS
So would be also good for 3.5 splitter to 2x 3.5 TRRS ?
Better I go with Creative Play4 for 40€ than this 3.5 to USB DAC ? is easier to set volume? or they are all that loud?
Creative Play3 is 20€ on German Amazon
I have Sennheiser HD 598 but they don't have microphone. They are open-back natural audiophile. So I am trying to find a good mic for this headphones.
With Sony 720 I hear myself too much into earcup due to the closed-back and there is some slight vacuum on earpads. Even with Bose QC25 I don't hear myself that much into earcup
Ablet Boom Microphone is 15€ TRRS to TRS also 2 outputs
I checked some Youtube and it sound similar to V-modaPro
Antlion USB is 70€ and still would have to glue to as it's magnetic
I see in reviews Geekeria have problems that when on mute others can hear them and that cause permanent problems that microphone doesn't work but on picture there it show it have cable shielding
So a good solution would be Bluetooth 3.5 adapter with TRRS but it's hard to find
Ugreen have with TRRS but only Bluetooth 5 with AAC codec for 15€ on German Amazon
Most of Bluetooth 3.5 are 2 stripes only so TRS and nobody writes if is TRRS or TRRS except what 3.5 connector is already on
So if there are 2 stripes on 3.5 jack and say it have integrated microphone in Bluetooth Adapter that means just using TRRS 4 pole cable will also with with microphone?
Another version with aPTX but can't buy in German Amazon
Or I just better buy Turtle Beach Atlas Air and Astro A50 they are both open-air so I will not hearmyself back into earcup and Bluetooth and 2.4 Wireless so It will work for phone calls for sure
And Viber with Viber out (6€ per month worldwide landline, mobile calls) is like a Skype on PC it also let me choose microphone source. But I am not sure how to fix noise interference
Bluetooth works 100% for sure on Android or phones
Or just buy cheap Poly 3325 for 50€ and microphone is louder then 5525 but there is no test for Poly Mission 425 just 600 and 800 series but not comparing to others.
Old version even have 3.5 and USB-A with adapter so I guess version with USB-A or USB-C is the same except adapter? I doubt they make USB-C version better
3225 is even 30€ and is like 5-10% less loud microphone then 3325 (seen the same Youtube reviewer and in one video is 3325 louder and in another video is the same loudness of microphone on both models)
