For me, it was between the KEF Q7 Meta's and the Martin Logan Motion Foundation F2's. After reading user reports and seeing KEF Q Meta measurements posted here about the rolled off high frequencies, I decided against the Q7 Meta's because of my old man ears. I need all the highs I can get!
I picked up the Foundation F2's on sale(sorry, no longer on sale) and they are pretty good overall speakers. I think they are for somebody who just wants to position them and play them, and not monkey around a lot with EQ and subs or extra tweeters. With the three 6.5 inch woofers, they go pretty dang deep and will hit you a bit, provided you have some good power behind them. And I really like that folded motion tweeter. What I like about it is that is is nicely detailed, yet without harshness or apparent sibilance. You can try them out for 60 days with Crutchfield.
