Good, I'll remember it now. It was just some vague memory of reading that market sellers in London had refused to change, and it wasn't all that long ago.

I must admit, I still think of height - of people - in feet and inches. With "6 feet tall" being a sort of reference point. Even though it changed more than 50 years ago.

It is okay. I find it is very easy to remember all the conversions because conveniently 1/5th of a gallon equals 750 ml.
