This is not a review per se, but there have been some significant improvements in GLM Version 5.2 (@amirm reviewed Genelec GLM version 4.1 here.)
The biggest might be the GRADE report, which I got permission from Genelec to share.
  • GRADE reports are PDF's they assemble in the cloud based on room data from GLM.
  • GLM is the DSP and room calibration software that is central to the SAM lines.
  • One gets 12 of these reports lifetime, which isn't nearly enough but there may be workarounds.
I realize not everyone will want to look at a 35-page PDF so here I've posted a few examples.
  • Table of contents
  • Summary/Composite Score
  • Example of the recommendations they offer.
While it could not solve every issue, it helped me decide to pull the mains much farther into the room and toe-in sharply.
I am listening differently now, more aware of the impact of reflections.

You can buy additional reports (6 for 30 and 12 for 50 Euros) as well as an unlimited yearly subscription (100 Euros).

Two graphs.

The first are my REW measurements, room before and after GLM 5.2. The second is GLMs measured and predicted response.

Compared to DiracLive, I find GLM more consistent and restrained.
