Phil Ward from Sound on Sound magazine will be reviewing the GGNTKT M1s’ later this summer and the new M3 should be here at Purité Audio London by the autumn.

Keith

It has taken a while but Phil ward will review version 3 of GGNTKT’s M1 in the New Year.
In the meantime a recent German magazine’s (Fairaudio) review by Jochen Reinecke of the M1 translated into English.
Keith

Also updated the GGNTKT product page on the PA site,
Phil ( Ward SoundonSound ) has a full review list until January, the plan is to deliver a pair of GGNTKT M1 to him for the review and then keep them here as a demonstration pair.

It’s taken a little longer than expected, as these things tend to, but Roland emailed me to say that the M3s have been collected !
Really looking forward to these and the M1s which are hopefully going to be reviewed by Phil Ward who does a really excellent job.

GGNTKT at the Hamburg audio show last weekend, the German audio show scene appears to be far more active than the UK which is frankly dead.

Far more active just for the moment: visitors are aging and most of the displayed speakers and electronics are far from affordable. Not to mention the heaps of snake oil offered there.....

Munich always struck me as having a far younger demographic, UK shows are now effectively old peoples homes, primarily because of the sad state of the Hi-Fi industry, ie selling over priced nonsense to old men who have swallowed the kool-aid and for whatever reason have never bothered to learn anything technically relevant.
Keith

Well these are awesome, thank you Roland.

They are bigger than I imagined, in every respect, they have everything.
Keith

The skinny cables and £10 surge protector provide a great deal of ASR "street cred."

Speakers look great. Are the woofer and midrange made of paper?

I believe they are, again I believe Roland found a Spanish manufacturer who would design to his specifications.
Best,
Keith

These are simply superb loudspeakers.
Roland states ‘Dynamic extremely dynamic’ and he is not wrong!
He also says they produce a truly immersive sound because of their 140 ° x 100° dispersion and again he is not wrong.
125dB they have never sounded the least compressed at any level I have dared to play.
Voices in particular are absolutely gorgeous, lifelike real in the room.
