They are really exceptional, tender and brutal at the same time, they arrive as analogue ‘in’ and monopole bass, with the provision to switch to cardioid.
Roland believes as do I that cardioid adds a little more clarity particularly when placed closer to the front wall.
The speakers also have inbuilt provision for EQ.

Edit: Silly me, found the measurements, really really impressive. The form factor is really awesome imo.

I always make sure I have a cup of camomile tea by my side as I listen!
I find the M3s to be brutal and tender at the same time.

Your warning was tongue-in-cheek I assume, but the video succeeds in attaching a gag reflex to your product for me, until the former fades from memory.
