Genelec The Ones, 120 colors

Orange would be my taste in the 8341a models. Not too flashy and not too thin/light in color. You should also be able to really look at it for years so that you don't get bored with the color right after buying it (also important to internalize it for yourself!). Therefore, you should be very, very precise when considering the color, also considering the placement of your own room and the color structure of the other environment in relation to the speakers. The environment also determines the overall look and the joy or sadness it brings.

That's more like banana yellow, that's also a pretty nice warm color than the color of a Ferrari on the road in the summer.Blue Genelecs are perfect for very hot countries like Africa or the Middle East. Here in Finland where we have a long, boring winter, I would definitely not buy cold blue Genelec colors.Because the psychological effect is present. Otherwise, some of the blue ones are nice colors too.

It is interesting how they launch this, obviously to appeal the general public vs the pro world, but they don't seem to do any effort to make a more overall living room friendly design.

Unfortunately, you have a completely wrong way of thinking about it. I don't think Genelec is doing any form re-designing to please millions of ordinary consumers so that home users can fully satisfy even the most crazy demands. Genelec makes its products with pro audio in mind, and the design is guided solely and only from this perspective by professional audio technology, which is completely and flawlessly the right choice to take in my opinion. Soon some 13-27 year old young man will demand Bluetooth connection methods to be embedded in speakers, or some finger-thick control buttons on the front panel or LED lights on the sides to flash like some underage disco.

Everyone already realizes that protocols change and become obsolete on the consumer side REALLY quickly when you live in the modern world. That path is constantly changing. And the Pro audio side is already at a much higher level in principle. The design side is right now. Aluminum or MDF. The MDF collection is still a good product due to the design advantage brought by the wall recess.

If you want to see the most beautiful products from Genelec in your home, then you have to be REALLY smart! and CREATIVE! when buying them, for example, use colored light spots targeting them from different angles, or use high-quality colored tapes or build different grill fabrics yourself with the curtain fabric of your choice. Creativity is a skill and there are options when you scratch your head a little deeper.

Seems like this whole rant can be boiled down to "I don't like any of the color options." And yeah, I'm sure the online pictures don't really quite capture the color quite right. It's damn near impossible to get colors to come through correctly on a screen. There's a reason why a company like Pantone exists and does quite well for itself.

If I had the money for some Genelecs, I'd take mine in Purple Violet, thanks:

I picked the same color those are sick. I reached out to my rep and they said no 8361A so that was a quick disappointment!

WOW :D
The 8331A, 8341A and 8351B can be ordered, I don't know the cost, in 120 different colors... ;)
Couldn’t help but wonder if their “traffic white” utilizes some 3m reflective technology like traffic signs and paint do ????
