WOW :D
The 8331A, 8341A and 8351B can be ordered, I don't know the cost, in 120 different colors... ;)

The colors are clearly a gimmick, but I have been using nothing but Genelec speakers for the last 25 years and I don't think anyone would be disappointed with their quality. They are a bit pricey, though.

Ah ah ah - that's just a link with no significant commentary to help a company get views and purchases; will be removed right?
I am interested in the 8361A and unfortunately it is not possible to have a different color from the three (white, anthracite, black).
Have a nice day :)

The specific rule is to avoid vendors blatantly promoting themselves. Another aspect is intended to prevent monetization attained by just visiting the linked site. As this thread post is not either of those cases and is primarily informational, it is allowed.

Unless @Esprit works for Genelec (not the case AFAIK), then the post seems fine to me
I admit that yesterday I read all the profiles* about these people who work at Genelec but no, I don't work there otherwise I would have already had a black and blue version of the 8381 made for me. :)

Standard practice in this segment.

I think $ would make it possible. You could ask genelec or worst case dismantle it and get the shell painted (that would come with issues of course)

We wrote an article on this last week :)
Maybe "Genelec Goes Luxe"? Though it's already $$$

· The Iso-pod feet cannot be customised (they remain black)
· The front grille colour cannot be customised

· Full story - https://www.exound.co.uk/blogs/news/genelec-the-ones-colour-customisation-launched

Plus, how about a "co-branded" edition?

Despite seeing a large number to work with, the range looks disappointing to me.

The online color simulator better be the problem, because they don't look that appealing. Stupid amount of neutrals and grays, lot of cool colors, a lot of dark colors without depth or clarity and just kinda blah (depth is something like Curry, invokes multiple dimensions at once like yellow, brown AND green, clarity would be like a primary color or absence of mutedness from a grey component). I'm really not feeling the lineup. It reeks of "safe and professional", despite ocassionally having a hue component. Like how the fuck you gonna call that Emerald Green? That's a depressed shade of emerald green, it needs therapy.

And why are there no PINKS!? Passionfruit, coral pink, hot pink.... Not even token a token pink? At least add millennial pink and call it a day. Do you want sales or not!?

I would swap out some of the grey options to expand the pallet into vibrance shades, add bling takes from jewelry like gaudy gold, shiny chrome, bronze, rose gold, or add some pearlized finishes inspired by the automotive industry, things which are not strictly one color like "ghost grey" (dark midtone grey to blue-purple grey shift) or the white with gold reflect which makes it "softer" and "more expensive appearing".

Seems like this whole rant can be boiled down to "I don't like any of the color options." And yeah, I'm sure the online pictures don't really quite capture the color quite right. It's damn near impossible to get colors to come through correctly on a screen. There's a reason why a company like Pantone exists and does quite well for itself.

If I had the money for some Genelecs, I'd take mine in Purple Violet, thanks:

I like this Purple Violet, as it is dark enough to appear reasonably subtle and not too brash. Most people prefer relatively subdued colors in their living room.

This new color addition to Genelec has been highly anticipated since the 1029a models, which has been long awaited. We are just getting started, I hope that in the future there will be more options, including different surface paint options for the structures, because powder coating is just one way to do the job.

It would also be nice and good to have different color options for the rubber feet under the speakers. Right now, only black and white are available. Maybe later you could get a light sand yellow, or light brown, or another pretty color. A small spice, but the whole thing would be a gem to look at.

Remember that if you choose a RAL color for the surface of the speakers, you should be very careful when moving/lifting the speakers at home so that you don't scratch the surface, because the shiny aluminum will immediately start to shine through if you scratch the speaker in question, and then it won't be nice for anyone.

It is also not yet possible to say whether the sun's UV light will have a bad effect on these Genelec color speakers. so keep that in mind when buying.
