Genelec 8361A vs 8351B

If I have a home theater with 3 x 8361A as LCR with a TV, can I use 2 x W371A for the front left/right and nothing for the center since it will be above the TV? Will this be okay or cause too much of a "mismatch" between the front left/right and center? I know for 2-channel music it will be fine but what about movies with immersive audio mixes? Does "heavy duty" audio come from the front left/right or also from the center?

Seems the center gets the most output on a lot of movies, based on this site which is compiled from a thread on the AVS forum.

Thx! I had to check how high they go, apparently all the way to 500Hz. Sounds so high if you compare to subs.
How low do they go in your listening room? On paper it's listed at 23Hz.

They go down to 18Hz in my room. The Operating Manual that comes with it notes that the low frequency role off target is set at 19Hz. The 23Hz is the reading in an anechoic chamber.

There's also much joy to be had in trying the various operating options (Side Reduction works best in my setting) and customising to taste: although, once your optimum location and operating option is selected and Autocal2 is run, questions of "taste" disappear before the all-round beauty of sonic truth!

My system is similar. I don't detect any discrepancies in the origin of sounds due to the height differences of the LCRs.

Not referring to the height difference, but do you notice any audible differences or any mismatch with the way your left/right speakers sound and how your center sounds since it doesn't have a W371A?

Are you doing lfe and surround?
