It was just the reveal of the new Stockholm showroom.....
Oh thank you. I would have a hard time seeing more stuff I can’t afford. In any case someone mentioned that 8351 + w371 is considered a 8371. So they have that covered. My bank account however does not.

Their main monitors need a refresh so I'm assuming an 8371 will happen sometime soon

I can't even spare cash with reasoning to upgrade to any of the ones, but then enjoying the entry level analog models, I found myself in current home don't hope for anything more, maybe more good music

I think that they are on to something. They control how their product is presented and demo'd. Sadly though only the largest market cities will ever get one.
It’s possible sweetwater out of Indiana or front end in SC can set up a demo.

Wow Thomann finally has the 1237 after many years
and it costs more than 8361
Question is does Genelec feels the 1237 is better than 8361 and that's why it costs more?

I would never ever choose the 1237 over the 8361.

Heard both?

How about if the choice was to get used 1237 for 6000€ or new 8361 for 10000€?

Never even heard the ones, no regrets jumping on used 1237's.. 8361 would likely just be "different" in my treated cave, not anything miles better. Many prefer the old boxy masters anyway.

If you need the SPL and will soffit mount and listen from further away it makes sense. Horses for courses.

I still see photos of renowned studios and renowned producers using non coaxial monitors and sitting close. They must subconsciously have their head in a certain position while mixing.
