Technically a Great combo indeed... But in the real world, w371 are around 10.000 USD per unit, 8361 are 5000 USD x2, so the system costs around 30.000 USD

, and without being Rockefeller I can't imagine this combo being $ worthy compared to the much cheaper and great 8351b (3000USDx2) + 7360 (2000USDx2) =10.000 USD...!
Had a lot of studio Gear, including some pair of Genelecs (2029, 1030, 1031, 8050, 7060 sub...), always been very happy from them, in my small listering room / Home cinema ...
Just to tell you my experience : as far as I'm concerned, I own
-a MiniDSP DDRC-22D,
-Benchmark DAC3,
- AHB2 amp,
-then a pair of custom Floorstanding Cabasse Baltic Evo - Triaxial spheric "bookshelf" speaker with special passive filter at 100 Hz (
https://www.cabasse.com/en/cabasse_product/baltic-4/),

-each one is coupled with its Santorin 50-500 Sub (12 inches 500W powered, with DSP

The price for the brand new system would be 26000 USD, I got them used for "only"14.000 USD : I had the chance to compare with "La Sphere", the biggest Cabasse all in one System (
https://www.cabasse.com/en/cabasse_product/la-sphere/) witch costs 150.000 USD : My system had 90% of the sound for 10% for the price...

Genelec prices rarely withdraw with time, I hope they'll build a cheaper w371 sub with a cooler design... The WAF factor would prevent me from putting a single w371 in my living room, even if I'm sold them for One Dollar

Same for the 8350 that are too ugly as I hear everytime I try to show a different picture...

I'm thinking about my system and the Genelec system above (8351/7360), how different they would sound, but there is no Genelec retailer where I live, then badly I'll never be able to make a direct comparison...
If a member living in the USA could send a Cabasse Baltic Evo or Baltic IV on base to Amir for testing, it would be great !!

(mine are floorstanding, all the cables are built in the floorstand, it would be a slaughter if I had to take the speaker apart

)...
