I am very interested on a comparison of the speakers listed above both in general and in particular for an Hi-Fi use in the following room. My room is about 3 by 4 meters and is a rectangle trapezoid and the speakers must go on the short base of the trapezoid (287 cm) while the long base is 372 cm and the height is 385 cm and I want to listen with a distance of 170 cm from each of the speakers. Bookcase are on all the height of the trapezoid and on part of the long base. On the short base there is a window with tent. The ceiling is 270 cm from the floor.
Thank you very much.
Best regards

it depends on which speaker: dip switch on the back of the speaker or (for Genelec 83xx) GLM

my music source is Oppo BDP-105D (XLR analogue stereo output) so what do you suggest for external Digital Room Correction (DRC)?
Actually the stereo room is quite absorbing and quite good imo and 170 cm is nearfield with respect to room dimensions. I have a bigger room for 5.1 with a projector but my questions here are for the stereo room only.
What about the performance differences of the speakers listed?
8050B vs KH310A?
8351B vs 8350 vs 8341?

Because it is a smallish room and it seems your budget is quite high i suggest adding a subwoofer for a more smooth 70-100Hz-region. I don´t know how your trapezoid room behaves, but maybe think about it. In case of Neumann this would mean KH310+KH750+MA1 which would include DRC comparable to GLM. I don´t know Genelec products well, but i think they also would benefit from a subwoofer.

PS: If a sub is a no go a would agree that Genelec SAM + GLM would be better.

The 8341 doesn't seem to fit in that group.

I own a pair of KH 310 in a little space for a stereo setup. They are good straight of the box because sealed. No need for EQ or DRC and they go very deep and loud enough .In case you can add a kh750 with the ma-1 software. Kh 750 is small sealed box, so no need for big space.
It's a 3 way and you should compare them only to the 8351b.But 8351b is more than double the price and for sure not double in performance.

Ok thank you but what are the advantages of 8050B over KH310A using them without subwoofer for an Hi-fi use? And the differences (even the ones in favor of KH310A) are easily audible? If the position of the listener is not always exactly in a equilateral triangle with the speakers, which one performs better 8050B or KH310A? Do you have both?

thank you.
Other opinions on the comparison of 8050B vs KH310A without subwoofer?
What about the performance comparison (without subwoofer) of Genelec 8350 (2 way) (using GLM room correction) vs Neumann KH310A (using room correction by the dip-switches on the back of KH310A)? What should be the result with a listening distance of 170 cm in the room geometry described above?

I'd take the 8350A over the KH310A and the KH310A over the 8050B, if only using the vendor room correction facilities. Especially in such a small room.

ok thank you. What do you suggest for an external room correction to use with 8050B? Please consider that my music source Oppo BDP-105D have no AES/EBU digital output but only XLR analogue output and SPDIF (coaxial) or toslink digital output, look here:
https://www.oppodigital.com/support/blu-ray-bdp-105/images/BDP-105-back-hr.jpg
Other option:
If my music source is digital WAV FLAC files and Oppo converts it to analogue and then I use a digital speaker such as 8350: is it a problem to feed the analogue XLR input so that the Genelec has to re-convert it to digital (because the internal processing is digital) and then again back to analogue?

If you have SPDIF out there are ~$100 boxes from HOSA that will convert to AES/EBU.
