Does anyone know if GLM will work properly in Genelec 8030c + 7350a setup or monitors also need to have DSP to make GLM work?

GLM works only with our SAM range of monitors and subwoofers. Unfortunately it does not work with fully analogue 8000 series monitors such as 8030C. You would need to look at 8330A instead which is equivalent size.

Would it work with something like the JBL 708p's with AES in? I have a 7261A, and was wondering if I could use its SAM features for at least some sub management.

Okay. Let's say I have multiple generations of SAM products. Can I have an 8341 as a center, 8260 as left and right channels, and 8350 as rear channels, with a 7270 subwoofer?

I have the old GLM box, so I could see having to upgrade that, but I'm curious if this would work/is backwards compatible.

What's the point of the DSP in the sub then?

Also, can I connect multiple sources to the sub, or it's only for 7.1 surround?

To correct the driver response, act as a crossover, and allow small adjustments like on the back of many studio monitors I'll bet.
