Hello everyone,

I'm starting a Hi-Fi build from scratch and would love your assistance. My budget for the entire system is $10,000, and I've already selected some speakers that offer a linear sound signature.

Since I plan to stream music as my primary source, I'm looking for recommendations on either all-in-one components or separate units that can add a bit of warmth to the overall setup. Your insights would be greatly appreciated!

Neither should add warmth without EQ, either way you go warmth is in EQ or room placement. If a amp or receiver adds warmth it likely is not linear, boosting certain frequencies. That's not good. Boost what you want with IQ, Dirac Art works wonderfully for such things.

OP take heed

More info needed
Which speakers chosen?
Size of room?
Listening volume?, etc
I choose the new Allie stand mount speakers from GR Research
Room size is 12'x13'
65db to 75db with an occasional volume beyond that when the house is empty

I think that's Danny, hard to say as I can't find the speakers on his website, nor a frequency response. It may well be a dip in the speakers midrange. If so good EQ will fix it or at least improve it significantly.

No offense but Danny is not very respected here.

These speakers are new. He is building them out now. No offense taken.

Here is what I recommend:
Laptop for source
Minidsp Flex Balanced for DAC
Buckeye Purifi 1ET6525SA 2-Channel amp

I recommend it because that is what I use. A sub or two if necessary. Monolith, Hsu, SVS all have good offerings of similar price.

$10k total, how much is Danny charging for his "art"? Or you need to spend $10k outside of speakers/subs?

$3500/pair for Danny’s latest attempt to find a way to unload the LGK driver. Apparently, the LGK 2.1 did not sell sufficiently. Now its matched with one of Danny’s cheap woofers. Allie is much more of a margin grab than the LGK 2.1 which is only (lol) $1350/pair. There are also some very pricey stands being marketed for it.

3500 USD spent for GR Research products is an expensive way to jump on a learning curve. Just don’t. There are really great, tested, and proven speakers of the price range.
