The Bohemian Rhapsody film had me chuckling when a Garrard 401/SME arm/M75-ED was used to play a demo cut and 'Freddie' turned the volume down by rotating the pitch control on the deck

8-track was not very common in Europe, so I've never actually seen one. But reel-to-reel tape was. Here's one of many iconic scenes from Pulp Fiction :
