Fun poll: which stand should I build for the Heissmann DXT-Mon 182?

Do you prefer option 1 or option 2 for a smallish 2-way?

may i suggest some premium footers. maybe height adjustment. accenting the stripe down the middle. bronze, maybe. or matching wood audiobling.
honestly, if had bookshelves, id buy these.

my wife likes 2 as well. i would use the same woods, walnut with the ash center strip. my concern is stability. but making the base a bit bigger, and the height not more than 27”, and using sticky feet should help.

bet you could make a cool, maybe 1"x2"×2" ash pod for each corner with a thin dense rubber pad cut to fit. bling and stabilty in one solution.

i was thinking of 8/4 walnut for the base to give it heft, and attaching sorbathane hemispheres underneath, at each corner. they get sticky.

not on with that sticky stuff. some of it leaves residue. not to mention moving it to set up and adust.

This site makes stands similar to what you propose. They have a stand somewhat like your No. 2 that has a channel to conceal the speaker wires
