Offered for sale is my audio system consisting of:
  • Pair of JBL M-2 Master Reference Monitors
  • Motu UltraLite Mk5 Audio Interface
  • Crown XLS 2502 for LF
  • Hafler 220 (recapped and rebuilt) for HF
  • Dell PC Laptop to run software
  • Blue Jeans speaker cables and all associated interconnects
  • Hang Loose Convolver and Hang Loose Host, software by Mitch Barnett of Accurate Sound…license transfer facilitation. (mitch @ accurate sound.ca)
  • Audiolense XO software from juicehifi…(digital crossovers, frequency correction and time domain correction)… license transfer facilitation.
This system has been used as my home two-channel stereo set-up for a little more than a year. I purchased the M2’s off the “Reverb” website. They were listed as “demo units” and operate perfectly, as well being very close to flawless cosmetic condition.. After I had purchased the M2’s, (and since I’m lacking in technical skills), I went looking for someone who could guide me in acquiring and assembling all the remaining up-stream components (hardware and software) needed to integrate the JBL M2 speakers into a complete and functioning music system.

My search for guidance led me to Mitch Barnett, owner of Accurate Sound, who has a long career as a sound engineer, technical author, digital audio software developer and system architect. He is also one of the most pleasant and patient individuals anyone could ever hope to meet. (Whoever buys my system will need their own specific room correction files and I highly recommend retaining Mitch for this work.) Following Mitch's recommendations, I acquired all the remaining components and software files needed to build a working stereo system.

I've been a lover of hifi since my early 20's and I'm now 80. Now, unfortunately, a change in my life circumstances requires me to part with this outstanding audio system. When I sent an email to Mitch telling him of my need to sell the M2 monitors and associated equipment, he responded in part:

“I would recommend selling the system as a package with the software as well. Basically, it is all ready to go except for new room correction.”

I’m taking his advice and offering the items listed above as a package.
Price for the package: $7,750.00 USD
Package location: Seattle area, Washington, USA

Any and all questions are welcome. The system is currently in my home, fully operational and available for audition to anyone seriously interested. Shipping is at buyer's expense.

Thank you.
