I have been sitting on some amplifier parts mainly leftover from development testing and decided to build and sell the better ones. Before posting, have already sold a stereo NCx500 amp, but here is an opportunity to get a Buckeye Purifi 9040 monoblock amplifier at half price ($649). Will include a one year warranty but you pay shipping. I have UPS and Fedex discounts but not enough volume to do “free” shipping. The amp is fully tested to meet specs shown in Amir’s review.
If you are wondering what is different than a new Buckeye amp? First, the Purifi 9040 module is a production unit as is the MicroAudio SMPS. However, the case and input board are preproduction. The case is actually a production NCx500 case. The only compromise here is that the 9040 mounting is held by 2 screws rather than 4. The input board is clean and fully featured, but is used and may not have the latest firmware.
