Here's the scoop, Brady's:
It may be a long shot but I'll give it a try. I am selling this cheap as a DIY repair project. I bought it in July 2023 and used it for 10 months before I had a power surge and it stopped working. Please don't ask about the power surge because it is an embarrassing dumb thing I did. I checked the fuse in the rear as well as the 4 inside and they all looked good. I contacted Audiolab and got the info for their US repair center and planned on sending it in because I loved this unit. At the time I was short on cash and also couldn't be without an DAC/Preamp so I boxed it up and put it in the closet and ordered a Topping DX3 Pro+ and it's been sitting in there ever since and largely forgotten about until today while doing some spring cleaning.
For someone with a higher pay grade than me I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard to fix? I opened it up and the only thing I could see were a couple of suspicious looking caps that are in one of the pics.
I have no idea on how it measures but I know I loved it's sound. And like most AIG products it is an extremely well built unit with high quality parts. It was originally $1500 but I got it on sale for $699. It is in like new condition and includes everything that came with it when new. The spots on the rear are just dust from cleaning that I didn't notice until afterward.
I'd like to get $125 with free shipping for it. PayPal F&F please and thanks for looking.
