At long last I finally found a Yamaha CX-1 preamp to pair with my Yamaha MX-1, and so I'm letting go of my alternates.

Yamaha C-4 is a fantastic piece of vintage analog gear.
The mechanical controls are incredibly satisfying to use and the backlit glass buttons are a unique touch.
