I prefer my panels, as they have no tweeters that I can't hear anyway.

Sal is space constrained due to Zurround Zounds. I think he would be enamoured, non-the less.

My Altecs are 2-way for the same reason.

My crossover is at 180Hz.

That is great for vocals.

The Altecs that I use were designed for vocal clarity and do it very well indeed at higher active crossover frequency. FWIW the Yamaha Pro amp I use up to 500Hz is said, by Yamaha, to be designed for vocal clarity.

Lower x-over would be better. With care I can get it down to 300HZ. Not bad for a 15 inch LF driver and CD medium-size horn combo. Raising the x-over freq to 800Hz is another option. What fun. ;)
