I think it is easier to read if you analyse left and right channel separately. You have like two legends also, easier to read if you instead of "file 0" writes the colour.

My Gyro had 0.18% peak Wow today, so I moved the belt from the platters lowest groove to the middle groove and... Voila!" back to DD performance ,wow <0.05%.

With my Michell Gyro it is useful to try different belt positions since the belt varies as is ages, and also if it is unused for a long time may need re-adjustment or talcum treatment, or just run for an hour or 3.
Glad to see the speed performance is back after a minor tweak.

picked up another new str-100 because one popped up cheap. measurements taken back to back show a pretty big difference in channel balance and bit of a difference in distortion between the two copies. ignore the fall off in the right channel. i added more capacitance in the right channel only to compensate for an early high end droop this particular stylus has. i know user has tested a bunch of copies, but i thought it was interesting to see the difference first hand. i wonder what the channel matching would look like on the clear audio record?

and this of ultimate 60+4khz ? "for vta"...
(not if I used "measurement" a little as an aid to adjustments...being in such a "relative" system, with such interdependent "variable" values...I learned to put all this into perspective ;-) )

No the Ultimate test track is faulty. For VTA the modulation should be vertical/ out of phase. It is not.

I don't use it for that... but able to instantaneous distortions thd or imd many things including quite explicit easily too so I'm a little surprised by your words..but hey I haven't dug into the ultimate side (just sometimes the antiskating has +12db)

The AT-6607 test record is made to be used with the AT6020 cartridge analyser instrument, but with A PC i can do what is needed to analyze still

Tracking test recommends to look at the phase plot, end yes mistracking becomes very obvious

Polarity is OK
1710685750562.png

Lateral intermodulation . bad luck I cannot track the last of 3 track that is located at 120mm, but phase difference L/R seem minimal at 1 IMD track at 129mm, AND 2b-2 track ends at 125mm and may be useful for setting the HTA/zenith.. The rights track is delayed 4microseconds... og 3.1 phase degrees relative to the 2200Hz

treated in REW and I et this

Nasty sidebands on side B last track 3000hz. Maybe it is time to treat the Gyro belt wth talkum, I will try the Denon F51F another day see . Compared both below seems to be the record and not a Gyro belt problem

6000HZ Inner track looks horrible... my cart is only 79hours old, så I hope this is damage form the previous owner/user

but the zenith control should not be done at the same zero points? is the track correctly positioned for your case? interesting and relevant results?

The tracks do not fit with alignment points 60 /120mm, a compromise must be made

would be curious about a direct comparison for this use with more classic tests in imd like the 400+4000, smpte etc... to see if it is more relevant for this use etc...
(worth observing perhaps while playing at the same time on the antiskating...)

New arrival, sadly signs of use are obvious, but it may still work..some de clicking can fix it maybe.

Not bad, but signs of high distortions at high end that probably is not the cartridges fault,( when comparing other test disk on the same cartridge)

also some basslift compared to other disks
