Hello, Recently I did my 5.1.4 system calibration using the latest Script (A1 Evo Acostix) developed by Obsessive compulsive audiophile. The Script is very good but I got one issue, I sealed all my Heco aurora Speakers using port plugs for them to naturally roll off at 12db per octave so that it adds on perfectly to my X4700H 12db per octave crossover roll off which becomes 24db per octave and blends smoothly with my sub which is also 24db per octave. So here what the software does, It is abruptly boosting the frequencies below the natural roll off to match the target curve even when my slider of Max Eq boost is at 0db.
What could be the reason?
In the attached photo of Front Left Response, The green one is Acostix corrected (FLFinal), and the blue one is manually corrected using REW's match response to target with 0db boost allowed.
