Fosi Q6 Click Sound

Hello guys, I'm new in the audio hobby and I bought my first DAC, preamp and amp kit, I received the dac today and wanted to test it, even without the preamp and amp, just to see if it was working. When I play a different sound in foobar2000 or play/pause a video in youtube the DAC make a noise like a click, it's normal? I've tried different things but nothing works to stop this noise

Annoyingly, very normal on DACs using Xmos USB bridges.

If you're on Windows, try installing Fosi's driver for the Q6 (link), then in the driver control panel set Streaming to Always On by following this guide:

XMOS driver settings for no cutoff/delay

I was contemplating on creating a "tutorial" of sorts for all XMOS drivers on devices that have a cutoff -- latency between the start of a sound and the dac "reacting" and actually playing said sound... So here it is: XMOS drivers use a control panel not unlike this: Usually the "Options"...

Thanks for the response it solved the issue! Just one more question, it's normal to hear a mechanical sound like a "tic" or "pop" from inside the dac after start it or change the sample rate? I'm using the usb port
