I like the acrylic platter. It’s a good non-ringing material. If they embedded 5 steel weights near outer edge of platter it would increase inertia. Is there a felt mat on top?

Wonder if platter could be illuminated.

All the engineering is for nothing though.
Looks like hard plastic feet and no suspension. Vibration will ruin any performance.

Pink Triangle used a thicker frosted acrylic platter, with no top mat.

I will wait until the revised model names use letters, rather than numbers. I will skip the Luna A, and also the next version, but wait in line to get the Luna C.

The arm is rather less... ahh... brutalist than the U-Turn's, though.
At a very quick glance, I thought that it looked very generic/OEM-ish. Not Hanpin, but the other one, which name is escaping me at the moment.

Interesting to see they incorporate a trigger control, also a switchable auto-stop function. The latter is an especially nice feature, I wish the AT tables had that.

Although there are no fixed standards for "hi-fi", I agree. By today's standards (really, since the CD was introduced in the 80's) the vinyl noise disqualifies it in my book.

I received that email this morning. The included link doesn't work. It points to their new preamp.

It looks fine for a turntable. Nice and simple. They were smarter than McIntosh and didn't cram tubes into it.
