No sign of it on the website but ..

In 2025 this cannot be considered hifi. Besides, there is nothing pure about analog.

To be fair, it does look nice ..

That’s a rather absolutionist attitude, I think it looks quite neat/cool.

I like the acrylic platter. It’s a good non-ringing material. If they embedded 5 steel weights near outer edge of platter it would increase inertia. Is there a felt mat on top?

Wonder if platter could be illuminated.

All the engineering is for nothing though.
Looks like hard plastic feet and no suspension. Vibration will ruin any performance.

Pink Triangle used a thicker frosted acrylic platter, with no top mat.

Looks like a basic cloning of the original U-Turn table, but it's certainly very attractive. And I have to say, the marketing webpages for Fosi are getting more and more impressive!

The arm is rather less... ahh... brutalist than the U-Turn's, though. ;)
At a very quick glance, I thought that it looked very generic/OEM-ish. Not Hanpin, but the other one, which name is escaping me at the moment.
EDIT: Yahorng. That's the one. ;)

How do you mean, is the turntable in need of absolution or is it me?

Autocorrect error as it was meant to read “absolute” ,

Of course it can be considered hifi.

absolut hifi?

Interesting to see they incorporate a trigger control, also a switchable auto-stop function. The latter is an especially nice feature, I wish the AT tables had that.

In the old days, many record changers had a switched AC outlet on the back.
One's hifi (amplifier, e.g.) was plugged into that outlet.
The changer played its stack of records.
When finished, everything shut off.
:)

And self queuing, too.

Agreed, I like it.. Fosi are smashing this new items out fast ..

I received that email this morning. The included link doesn't work. It points to their new preamp.

It looks fine for a turntable. Nice and simple. They were smarter than McIntosh and didn't cram tubes into it.

I really want to know what fosi included in the promo vinyl :D
