Hi LC30

I have a surround amplifier Sony avr1080 and a Za3 and one pair of speakers. I like to connect the 2 amplifiers and the single speakers to the Fosi LC30 How do I make the connection to my Sony and Za3. Do I have to connect speaker cables to front speaker terminal on the Sony? And one speaker cable to my Za3 is this the correct way to do the setup. I like to switch between two amps and one pair of speakers

If I am not mistaken, I am assuming that you have one single pair of speakers and are listening to 2 channel stereo (and you are not using the Zone 2 connections with the speakers). In that case you probably should be using the front left and right channels of your Sony AVR.

Connect the Sony AVR left and right channels speaker output to the Amplifier A (or B) connections, and the Fosi ZA3 to the other amplifier connections. Connect the speakers to the Speaker 1 (or 2) connections.

Use the front button (or remote) to select the amplifier you want to use. I'd strongly recommend NOT switching amplifiers without first muting the output, as switching active inductive loads using mechanical relays can cause arc damages to the relay contacts.

If i do the connections you provided can i listen to Dolby atmos and dts with my avr1080?
Yes, you should be able to. When the amp selector is switched to the AVR, you system should behave no differently from a direct connection of your L&R speakers to the AVR L&R speaker outputs.

Hi

What about volume management shall I set full volume on the LC30 and then manage the volume on the amplifiers?

Best regards Johannes

The LC30 should not affect volume. (If it does, something is wrong.) The rotary knob between the meters is for adjusting the sensitivity of the meters, and it doesn't affect the output volume.

Volume is controlled by the amplifiers upstream of the LC30.
