Joined the V3 Kickstarter campaign in mid
May. After all the review’s and excitement about them, I wanted to have a pair as alternate amplifiers. The campaign clearly stated that all units would ship by the end of May. But, this morning they send out a BS email about gratitude for support and the usual corporate drivel that they’re doing their best to fill orders. This is not what I expected from this company. American companies do this type of terrible customer service. Fosi should have cut off orders when they knew they couldn't make their shipping date. Then fulfilled all orders and then restart taking orders. Now they say all orders will be shipped by July 15th. Based on customers responses that placed orders months ago and haven't received them, it might be August or September before all orders are shipped. Horrible customer service, misleading information and a cash grab by Fosi.

It’s kickstarter, not a retail store/outlet. Rewards are not guaranteed. Fosi has record better than most on delivery of reward. Nothing guaranteed. I knew going in delivery could change or be delayed, the very nature of kickstarter. I’am sure Fosi will deliver. I received an email last nite about shipment of amps that they hoped to have all shipped in the next couple of weeks. Seems like the delay is with the 10a power filters. Be patient.

Then why hasn't Fosi been upfront with their customers? I don't expect any guarantees. Just honest communication and fulfillment of orders based on that.

The campaign clearly stated that all units would ship by the end of May.
The Kickstarter campaign NEVER mentioned May, you are wrong:

There was an estimated shipping month JUNE, not a date. They started shipping in June, just like they estimated. What is your beef?

This was a Kickstarter investment/fundraiser campaign, not an order equipment for super fast delivery site! Nobody placed an order months ago, they invested in a Kickstarter campaign months ago, you can order them later this month from Amazon. The only misleading information here that I see is your attempt to paint Fosi in a bad light because you cannot comprehend what you read.

I've backed close to a dozen Kickstarter campaigns. Not one delivered a product by the estimated shipping date, If you can't tolerate uncertainty, avoid backing a Kickstarter project - You are not purchasing something from a retail store. There are very reputable creators on Kickstarter (like Fosi) and some dodgy operators. I jreceived notice on July 2nd that my V3 monos are on the way. I consider this excellent service and I applaud Fosi for keeping us informed and addressing problems in a straightforward manner.

To have units to customers in June, which some people have received, they probably started shipping in May. It is true that the estimated delivery time was June. However, there are many people posting on Kickstarter that pledged very early and have heard nothing from Fosi. I completely understand this is a Kickstarter campaign. I didn't expect next day delivery. I did expect delivery in late June or early July. The following message was sent out on June 25th.

Estimated delivery
Jun 2024

Shipping to
United States

This message June 28th. Which month?

I received this today, July 4th.

Due to the large volume of orders and the diversity of your individual needs, our shipping progress has been slower than anticipated. Please rest assured that our production department is working diligently to expedite the manufacturing process. We are committed to processing all orders by the end of this month, with a final deadline of no later than July 15th. So which is it? July 15th or the end of July? Also, processing doesn't mean shipping.

Obviously I can read!

they probably started shipping in May
Look at post # 2550 in the thread address above, that one shipped on June 17th, arrived June 23rd. No "probably" to it, but to build your "straw man" argument......

Your point is that they should stop shipping and send you emails instead?

It seems they are extremely busy, working hard to fulfill shipping demands to a Kickstarter that was only requesting $50, 000.00 in funding and received $500,000.00 in funding. Plus they now have the additional demands of all of those unexpected orders, I'd say Kudos to them. English isn't their first language and a mistake on a date is easy (like confusing which month an order was estimated and stating an earlier month as a deadline;)).

Obviously I can read!
It's the comprehension that concerns me.

this was always going to have some delivery problems. people love the idea and with all the press they get from youtubers this was going to stretch their ability to deliver

ask yourself this... Fosi seems to have come to a dead stop because of this one product.

That's where they are at.

My amps and power supplies are enroute, I've received tracking details as have many others in the last 2 or 3 days (see review thread)...no dead stop in sight mate!

Please excuse me for saying this so harshly, but no company needs customers like you in a Kickstarter project.
You should have informed yourself beforehand about what Kickstarter is, why and what it is for and how it works and operates. Your posts only show that you have no idea about Kickstarter and you are only causing unrest in the project and making other participants feel insecure completely unnecessarily.

If you knew about this type of project, then:
- you would know that shipping delays of 1-3 months are completely normal and that you have to tolerate 6 months.
- you would also know that with a project like this, which is completed with 10 times the number of units than planned, you always have to expect a significant delay in delivery.
- and then you could have canceled your purchase.

I can only praise @Fosi Audio for being able to produce it at such short notice, procure the power supplies in such a short time and in such a large number of units and ship everything.
Hats off, most companies don't manage to do exactly that.

I personally advise you against further Kickstarter projects, because the probability that your next experience will be much worse is over 95%.

I have participated in Kickstarter campaigns before. I'm well aware of how they operate.

All your contributions in this and the other Fosi threads show the opposite and that is clear to everyone.
I have already participated in around 30 such campaigns on Kickstarter and other platforms, and especially when the number of units exceeded the target by a significant amount, the delivery was significantly delayed.
The fact that Fosi still manages to deliver so promptly just shows their good logistics and professionalism.
As an experienced Kickstarter participant, you should know that.
