Possibly depends on how your church donations have been ;)
It is a small church and we typically give out more than we take in :)
That is why I had to replace the audio system after 20-25 years, from a fund collected over years.

Thanks for this review!
I ended up purchasing those mono amps, with 2 PSUs, and the smsl d-6s dac.
Enjoy it! They have been great, honestly it is amazing the amount of performance you get for the price. I didn't have an interest in getting self-powered speakers before the advent of these amps because all the good speaker amps cost $1000+ it seemed.

I completely agree. I needed more power and ended up dropping 3.5 X the money per channel on an Apollon NcX500. I still like my V3 monos, and actually moved them to my theater for the front stage. The beat the socks off my Denons internal amplifiers and sound fantastic.

Well well.

My FOSI V3 Mono amps are operating way hotter, than my V3 Stereo (despite the V3Stereo is driving 2x12'' DaytonRSS315 Subs).
I did post some measurements a while ago.
They do not overheat - but what remains is a design decision which lead to inefficient cooling.

V3 Stereo does have Ventilation holes on top and bottom
--> hot air can leave the case, natural air flow (chimney effect) is helping with the cooling
--> Air Cooling + FullBodyHeatDissipation

V3 Mono does not have ventilation holes on top and bottom
--> hot air cannot leave the case, there is nearly NO airflow.
--> ONLY FullBodyHeatDissipation

And i did check airflow on V3 Mono with incence sticks --> NOPE! (basic physics apply!)

Removing the orange parts on the sides may help, but still: hot air moves upwards, not sideways.

I did criticize this in my tests and voilà (FOSI listens)

The New BT20A again has venting holes on top, no venting holes on the bottom, but side holes ...
--> Air Cooling + FullBodyHeatDissipation
Maybe not as efficient cooling design as with V3 Stereo, but for sure better than V3Mono.

EDIT: just read a review on fosiaudiocommunity - and they integrated a fan ???

Regarding the situation with the power bricks:
I ordered Aiyama GaN power bricks over AliExpress, which were way cheaper than Fosis GaN. (at the moment €25 for one 48V 5A, which seems like 50% comparing to FOSI GaNs)

Im basically forced to order these seemingly unreliable amps because the topping pa7 plus i ordered came broken and there were no replacement units available so i just got refunded..

I just hope these monos last me a couple months.

I also hope fosi starts investing some time/money into their designs because I cannot be seen with a device looking like this in the living room; i have no idea where to hide these monoblocks

Why not use a 3E Audio A7 or A7 Mono?
Slightly better measurements, somewhat higher power output, and more stable and higher power at 2 ohms.

I have a ridiculous amount of gift card balance on my amazon account which im trying to get rid of so the amp has to be from there.

The topping pa 7 plus was the only decent amp i could find and it also happened to be the last in stock. Although the 3E Audio A7 looks great it's "unavailable" on amazon

3E Audio devices have been available on most Amazon platforms for quite some time. It's best to check directly with 3E Audio about availability on your preferred Amazon platform.
The new multi-channel devices are even available with Prime on Amazon.de.
The new PAM252 might also be something for you.

Would you mind sharing the Amazon.de links you mentioned? I’ve tried searching for 3E audio on Amazon but didn’t find a single product of theirs. It just shows fosi audio stuff

Thanks both of you for the links, this amp is probably all I’ve been looking for the last couple of months. However it still says it’s unavailable even though there’s 1 option. “Derzeit nicht verfügbar”.. weird

Meh, they are just fine. You're going to need to spend 5-10 times the money if you want an artsy show peice. If you want good sound and a fantastic price, these are it. Assuming the reliability issues have been fixed.

Quels problèmes de fiabilité... j'utilise les 2 miens avec 2 alimentations en 10 A chacunes plus avec un petit ventilateur sans aucuns soucis...

Okay so I figured out that they dont ship the e3 audio A7 to Austria, only Germany. Literally the only amp on amazon that has over 200W and ships to Austria is the fosi v3 mono

As I said - the only benefit is size. There is no audio quality benefit.
A GAN power supply naturally makes the sound much faster; the sound becomes more enveloping, and the veils that otherwise shrouded the music are lifted. If you then replace the appropriate operational amplifiers as well, you’ll be a whole lot closer to audiophile nirvana.

You do realise, in the absence of an appropriate emoji you're gonna get poed.

EDIT - oh, it's happened already - took less than 10 minutes. :p

Don't forget to change the included power cable, the GAN power supply can't do miracles without it. Any real audiophile knows about it
