This is the third thread you've attacked Fosi and you have been corrected on all, yet you continue to attack Fosi because you cannot comprehend what you read. This was NOT AN ORDER, it was an investment/funding of a product that was not even guaranteed to be manufactured. You saw the estimated shipping date of June 2024 when you invested on Kickstarter (because they were not for sale yet, they were still getting funding). People started receiving them in June 2024, just as estimated. Get your head wrapped around this, Kickstarter is NOT A STORE, it's a funding/investment site.

While it's expected buyers will wait longer for product delivery from Kickstarter based operations, if it ever came to pass that buyers received no product in return for payment that would be the last time anyone would support them. The Kickstarter disclaimers that you may receive nothing should be enough to make most buyers pause.

When developers don't have their own money invested it can easily lead to fraud or walking away from projects that don't turn out to their advantage. You also don't get forewarning of flaws and poor design issues from previous customers like you do with existing products that are already shipping. Kickstarter is a risk, best to remember. Personally, given a choice I would rather support companies that are willing to invest in themselves.

Agreed, but some people will take that risk.
That is not what Sgt. Pepper is complaining about, he wants Amazon service from a Kickstarter campaign.

Look up the VinylSonic kickstarter and see a campaign that took everyone's money and disappeared with like $600,000 over a year ago. I'm out $149. Not tragic to me but still a poor experience. You really can lose your money.

I quoted Fosi emails. All I expect is for a company to do is what they say they'll do. Nothing more. I know they'll eventually arrive.

people that can't comprehend that kickstarter can't take responsibility for other companies and understanding by this that those companies have no obligations and can't be criticised for stealing money are far beyond my understanding capabilities.

Fosi acknowledges their delays and admits that "progress has been slower than anticipated" - you can take your moans and "they dont even have to send you anything" elsewhere.

Fosi's actions and lack of communication are the behavior of American companies. Get all the cash you can, write the usual drivel about customer gratitude and then take months to fulfill orders. Today's email says all units will ship by July 15th. There's customers that placed early orders months ago and haven't received them. I believe shipping will extend well into August. They should have cutoff orders until they shipped all early orders. Only then accept new orders. Being honest and upfront with your customers is the trademark of an excellent company. Fosi has fallen far short of that.
This comment is totally dissociated from the overall experience of the entire site with Fosi, which is also fulfilling orders regularly and on time. Senseless complaints with no connection to reality

Yes this is evident

I ordered at the end of April, mine is enroute now, I have tracking info. You stated ordering mid-May somewhere so you should be soon if the dating is any indication, I hope you get soon. (Fosi took 9 days from China to east coast of USA on my last order, not too shabby ;)).

If any of you believe that Fosi wasn't planning on manufacturing the V3 regardless of a Kickstarter campaign, I have a bridge to sell you.
Then why didn't you wait until you could just pay full retail price and buy it? Then you could legitimately bitch and moan about not getting top tier service (in your opinion). You could cry us all a river or something.

You mean in standby mode? It's high
It's ~13.4w for both my amps in standby. It's ridiculous. That's the equivalent of 2 LED light bulbs running constantly.

Power consumption drops to 18W when the monos are sleeping.
Are there any disadvantages that you are aware of (other than convenience), preventing the units just be switched on and off?

Have you ordered this from Fosi or are you just another keyboard warrior full of negativity?

Respectfully disagree.

As mentioned these are not orders to be fulfilled in the usual way from an online store, but a response to a kickstarter project which was spectacularly subscribed. Maybe even over subscribed, the interest was incredible.

Mine turned up in the expected timeframe and I had tracking information from the time it was shipped. I received communication to advise some shipments may be delayed, the reason why and an apology to those affected - even though my own request had been shipped. I can understand the frustration of some but honestly what more could they do?

Hang in there, it will be worth the wait.

We must apologize for the poor experience this has caused you. We must acknowledge that the V3 Mono orders are still being dispatched. All V3 Mono units for the Kickstarter project have been produced, but orders that include one 48V/10A power supply and two V3 Mono units (or similar one-to-two combinations) are delayed due to production capacity issues with the included power filters. We have sent messages to the backers of these specific orders. We will complete all shipments by the 15th at the latest.

We greatly appreciate the support from audiophiles for the V3 Mono and Fosi Audio. However, we admit that the experience with the Kickstarter campaign this time has not been as smooth as we hoped. We will reflect on this and strive to improve in the future.

A thing we can say for sure about Fosi is their continuous improvement focus is genuine as it seems is their remorse for the holdups in fulfillment. The power filter developed in response to reviewer feedback seems to be the source of the delay and well worth the wait by all accounts.

Thanks for the feedback, even if it comes very late... But what about the orders containing 2 V3 mono and 2 10A power supplies? Do they also need power flters now or why haven't I (Baker No.4!) received anything yet?
