i don't give a crap what campaigns on kickstarter are, i was promised by Fosi that the delivery start on 06.15, what exactly you don't understand here?

You're the one who didn't understand that the reward isn't even guaranteed, legally they can't send you anything and you wouldn't have any weapons to retaliate against. Whining will not speed up shipping

oh so its fine, they don't need to send me anything if its legal, its fine then, 0 complains xD

yeah the campaign was founded it three days, the product was finished before it started, and they almost already knew the estimated number of backers. So two months is enough to build a city in china, not to mention the integrated circuit on a 10cm board, this is not craftsmanship and handwork. They had time and knowledge to prepare for whats to come. They have time to promote other products, they should have time to explain the situation. And last but not least, why backer number 7 gets served after backer number 2000?

And
Producing units, which IS Fosi's bailiwick, is one thing. Shipping individual packages to 1,661 different addresses is absolutely not their specialty. When backing a Kickstarter, this is the reality of the matter. Delays, uneven shipping, unforeseen consequences, and slow comms should be expected in these campaigns. People should realign their expectations to what crowd sourcing is in a practical sense. Regarding their shipping order algorithm, we aren't privy to that info, and what maybe makes no sense to any of us, likely has a reason behind the scenes.

As noted above, in previous posts, if expectations are for retailer level service, crowd sourcing should not be a consideration for your your needs. It just is not how kickstarters generally work.

And too be clear, this is one of the fastest kickstarters I have seen. So this is approaching best case scenario. I have seen these go sideways fifteen ways to Tuesday, and its pretty wild when they go that way.

I’ll have to take your word for it on city completion times; I’m not familiar with that. But Fosi has run five previous Kickstarter campaigns; every one of them has taken three to four weeks to ship to fewer than 200 backers. I just don’t see where we need an explanation as to why 1800+ rewards are taking longer.

They did as promised. And at no point did they promise all, or specifically yours or any other individuals', would ship on 6/15. Specifically, on their campaign timeline, they state "June 2024 Shipping Begins", and this is true. And this beats probably 9 out of 10 Kickstarters for actually hitting the mark.

i think people should require compliance with contracts. But i of course understand that some unexpected events might occur and delays can appear, but i've also heard Fosi is grate in communication with clients...

Also, still no explanation for serving 2000 before 7.

Yeah, thats my mistake, i tought shipping begins meaning shipping of all packdges not randomly selected few :)

It is important to consider when backing, that this is wholly different experience than buying a product. There is not a sales contract in a conventional sense. As KS notes in their accountability articles:

"At the same time, backers must understand that Kickstarter is not a store. When you back a project on Kickstarter, you’re helping create something new — not pre-ordering something that already exists. As Kickstarter does not offer refunds, we encourage backers to investigate the project idea first, to vet the creator thoroughly, and to assess the inherent risk of the project for themselves before making a pledge."

That said, Fosi seems like they will do right by its backers, it just might be less expedient than some would like to have seen, but I think they are an above board outfit. You might also try contacting them through the KS Contact Me link for information, rather than e-mails, if you have not already done so. They could possibly be more responsive there.

But I think we can all agree that some communication from Fosi here at Audioscience would be helpful. I'm not asking for anything more than a short statement ....

My guess is they started sending orders as they received the survey/address confirmation emails but only to those who ordered the 5A PS, because I don't recall anyone here reporting he have received the amps + 10A power supply (probably because the filters issue). I'm backer 1537 and I replied as soon I received the survey email; the shipping arrived a few days ago (5A PS).

Has anyone thought that they might ship by geoblocking? Leaving large shipments from China makes sense if they all have to go to the same continent, and perhaps it makes less sense to make one shipment to Germany, one to Madagascar and one to Philadelphia. I don't know if that's the case but it doesn't seem so absurd to me. It seems like a lot of people in the US are getting their amps, in Europe I don't think so, I haven't received any shipping notifications yet for example, but I'm not holding my breath, it will arrive when it arrives.

yeah i don't think so. Last time i ordered one 6$ light stick from aliexpress they sended it for ~2$ and in one week it was in europe, so i don't think Fosi needs special separate containers and ships for different continents.

I live in the UK. I got my 2x 5A units today. I would have had them Wednesday except the last mile carrier, Royal Mail, dropped the ball as they tend to do. Everything was well packaged and works without issue though.

Complaining for Kickstarter's fulfillment about time, conditions even the very acquirement of the product must be a new low.
Seriously now?
Kickstarter's purpose is solely about helping someone develop and MAYBE bring a product to the market, nothing more.

This thread has gone of the rails for good,it has turned to a hopeless attempt to get info from fosi instead of an objective review.

What is the difference between Fosi giving a "We are working to ship these out as soon as possible" post here, vs the several people who have copy/pasted the update they received from Fosi?

"Thank you for your email and your enthusiasm for the V3 Mono. We want to clarify that our shipping process started on June 15th, as mentioned. However, please note that orders are being processed sequentially based on backer ID. Therefore, it might take a little time before you receive your tracking information. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get your order to you as soon as possible."

I mean I understand that it appears they're not actually going by backer ID, but a post here from them won't change how soon you receive your items.

I've had no issue with the derailment here, but the complaining a mere 10 business days into the shipping process is kind of ridiculous. Especially when we start bashing Fosi and questioning their service. 10 days people!

dude, you know what happens if in my office we cross the deadline for ten days? :) Isn't fosi like, a real company, with deadlines n'shit? xD
