He thought that a new thread should be opened only for questions about the delivery of V3 mono so as not to pollute this thread.

If I'm not wrong they've opened again the Kickstarter campaign with new pledges and extras!

Any Member can do that. It not something we normally do. Thus my confusion. Thank you for clarifying. Please feel free to open a new thread to discuss the V3 deliver questions. You can then come back here and drop a link to redirect those members who wish to participate in this new thread.

Please take this off topic subject to a new and separate thread.

We work hard to keep the first 20 or so pages clean and Review Specific. However, popular products like this draw a pretty large crowd and create a stir on the conversation side. That’s what we are here for. To provide an environment that fosters discussion about these products. All popular threads will experience thread drift. If you want the mostly science part stop reading after the first 30 pages. We want our members to engage and share their thoughts and opinions. This thread is at 112 pages long. In an ideal world it would be nice if we could keep every review thread relevant to the review results. Thus the compromise of the first 20 pages. Then we lighten up and allow more drift. This is what the majority of our members seem to want. Not perfect comprise.
Yes , you are right. I can see with your explanation of your pov, that I could have done actively something against thread drift instead of appealing to authority.
Next time wins ... ;-)

No shipping info for Backer #4 yet :(
A colleague (>1000) ordered the 5A version and already received the shipping info 3 days ago...
Both times shipping to Germany.

@Fosi Audio
Your communication here in the forum has diminished considerably. Why don't you give out a little info so that people don't have to ask and know where they stand ... That's only 1 or 2 sentences, it doesn't hurt.

THX

thanks, I wonder why so many have went for the 2 x 5a over the 1 x 10a?
Because we want true monos and not Frankenmonos.

EDIT: And for those, who feel offended by the delivery status: First World problems.

There are advantages depending on your space either way.
With 2 x 5a you can have short speaker cables and long XLR cables from your balanced pre-amp or balanced DAC with (I am presuming lossless) volume control.

But if you are connecting with RCA then that is a different requirement.

If you don't have long XLR cables, and you don't have a balanced pre-amp, and you don't want to cut your previously long speaker cables to be short, then a 1 x 10a power supply is a perfectly viable option. I understand Fosi are bundling an additional filter with the 10a. It may not have been necessary but may be contributing to the delays.

The important question is regarding the quality of the 10a supplies delivered to the customers. If a delay is making sure of this last point, then that is a good thing.

And for those, who feel offended by the delivery status: First World problems
Obviously. These are first world products.

Fosi hasn’t posted here about V3 monos since May and haven’t replied to queries from others on either of their FB groups. They have had time to talk about their other products.

Fosi said they would send out the amplifiers in the order in which customers pledged, beginning on June 15. If they have supply chain issues then a sentence or two would be welcome.

First World Problems are not so much connected to products, but rather spoiled characters.

Besides that, their last reply in this thread is from June 15th or so.

Yes, I didn’t count that one because it’s a request for advice about bi-amping but count it by all means.

I have sympathy for people waiting patiently without any further information from Fosi. It turns out the Kickstarter process can be a tedious way to buy something.

At least I received a standard text from Fosi via Kickstarter today ;)
Better than nothing ...

"Hi, Our team is working diligently to ensure that your order is completed and dispatched by the end of this month at the latest. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality product and service, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to fulfill your order as quickly as possible.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Warm regards,
Fosi Audio Team"

This is part of the very nature of Kickstarter, if you are in a hurry, or are buying out of the need to have immediately, to have surely and to have in certain times, then Kickstarter is not your platform.
It's not about fulfilling a pre-purchase order from a retailer, it's something totally different.
My order hasn't been processed, I sleep at night because I don't need those two amplifiers to listen to music, otherwise I wouldn't have made the purchase on Kickstarter.

I messaged Fosi Audio again about my order status, and this is the chat response I received:

“Thank you for your email and your enthusiasm for the V3 Mono. We want to clarify that our shipping process started on June 15th, as mentioned. However, please note that orders are being processed sequentially based on backer ID. Therefore, it might take a little time before you receive your tracking information. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get your order to you as soon as possible.”

I am Kickstarter backer #92. Fosi Audio should provide a better response than this.
