You guys are good. Thank you for being here, listening and acting.Sorry, we missed the listing, now we have stopped it either.
Wow, 20% off offer on Amazon.com with this code WM45TDZV, it goes into effect on September 30.Now if only @Fosi Audio made the new version available with the same 50% off offer on Amazon.co.uk
Thanks, now add that tone defeat switch for the next versionWow, 20% off offer on Amazon.com with this code WM45TDZV, it goes into effect on September 30.
As for amazon.co.uk, the new version is still on boat!
I am not the manufacturer of xDuoo, but I represent their products.@Xduoo Audio (FYI @amirm)
Are you the manufacturer of Xduoo product or related to it?? How come you do not have a Manufacturer Avatar badge here?? Please clarify ... it helps with how we perceive your posts here going forward. Thank You.
Thank you for the explanation.SINAD stands for SIgnal to Noise And Distortion.
It is a measure of how low the noise and distortion of a device is compared to the signal. In other words, how accurately the device reproduces the music.
It is one measure among many, but it is useful as a headline, because a device that performs well here will probably perform well in most of the other measurements.
A Sinad of 100dB means the combined noise and distorition is 100dB lower than the signal. That is very low indeed. If the signal is (say) 2V out of an unbalanced connection, then the noise and distortion will be around 0.00002V (100,000 times lower)
What do you mean by tone defeat switch? Thanks, now add that tone defeat switch for the next version
I believe the original poster means an extra switch to manually bypass the tone controls in the manner of many other amplifiers which come equipped with a "pure direct", "flat" or "tone defeat" switch usually intended to turn off any tone controls out of the signal path. What do you mean by tone defeat switch?
SINAD is pretty much the inverse of THD+N (combination of Distortion and Noise). Though I think the precise method of calculating the value might be slightly different.Thank you for the explanation.
Do you mean SINAD = SNR / THD?
So for the test, the Signal to Noise is 84dB or 97dB? And the Distortion refers to the THD+N Ratio, which is 0.015945%? Right?
Yes this is what I mean @Fosi Audio - because it is shown that the knobs do not have any indication of centering and the frequency is not flat at center anywayI believe the original poster means an extra switch to manually bypass the tone controls in the manner of many other amplifiers which come equipped with a "pure direct", "flat" or "tone defeat" switch usually intended to turn off any tone controls out of the signal path.
Other than that, consider reversing the order of the tone controls. Accepted convention is bass knob at the left and the treble knob to the right. What do you mean by tone defeat switch?
Can confirm, those THX systems really thump- ran my Logi 5300 rig nigh on 15 years. Way, WAY more than adequate for a PC system (real potential to annoy the neighbors) and only moved away from it a year or so ago as I got into these little amps mostly because I just got tired of the controller- not exactly the best user interface for adjusting levels on the fly (other than volume) and unfortunately a proprietary unit which connected with a serial port. Pulled the amplifier off the sub and still use it as a passive at my desktop with a Fosi BT30D- sooo much easier to adjust levels with the Fosi. The computer audio guys (Logitech etc) did it a while back with their sub/sat PC speakers with the three amplifiers in the sub and a little volume pot you had on the desk.
Thank you for explaining, we will consider adding the defeat-tone switch or centering position.I believe the original poster means an extra switch to manually bypass the tone controls in the manner of many other amplifiers which come equipped with a "pure direct", "flat" or "tone defeat" switch usually intended to turn off any tone controls out of the signal path.
