Yes, they missed having a proper volume indication.Obrigado pela sugestão, mas é um controle de volume invisível e infinito pelo que pude ver na avaliação. Fosi pecou demais nisso.
Both DACs are totally fine. E30II Lite has more features and remote. Fosi is simpler and no-frills but also a bit cheaper (in some markets). So its upto you.sorry for this question, because I don't fully understand all the technical details, but is it better to get this DAC FOSI Audio Q6 (or Topping E30II lite) + Douk U3 as a budget option for beginner, or go for Fosi SK02 instead as all-in-1 solution
I need a hussle-free solution for Windows 11 PC, without delays, problems and fade-in's, something simple, good sounding and with some upgredability if needed
Remote is more a minus than plus for me, I heard that Topping is more clinical than other brands. And what about SK02?Both DACs are totally fine. E30II Lite has more features and remote. Fosi is simpler and no-frills but also a bit cheaper (in some markets). So its upto you.
What does “clinical” mean?Remote is more a minus than plus for me, I heard that Topping is more clinical than other brands. And what about SK02?![]()

well people in the video reviews said that it's clean, without "oompfh", without "wow" factor, just bit boringWhat does “clinical” mean?
Unless it is really poorly designed, it is not going to sound any different than any other DAC. We are at the point now where the main differentiators between DACs are feature set, appearance, and price. In any competently designed and executed DAC, any differences will be far below the limits of human hearing. So anyway, let features, looks, and price be your guide.well people in the video reviews said that it's clean, without "oompfh", without "wow" factor, just bit boring
I don't know exactly, to be honest - I had a Focusrite Solo and old mini-usb Fiio E10K and both of these was OK but Fiio was so much more alive and fun to listen to in my headphones... now I have an Apple Dongle and it sounds like Focusrite, that's why I'm looking something budget'y but good to improve my sound, and I'm afraid to spend 200$ and more and get the same experience.
I heard that SMSL SU-1 also good and even better than this Fosi one, but in the thread about it there were a lot of complains about QC, and that's how I found out this thread - because Q6 was a suggested alternative
It is probably that the port on the SBC doesn't have enough power.Hi, There is one problem with the Fosi Audio Q6 DAC. When using a homemade audio streamer based on a single-board computer (LuckFox Pico Max, LuckFox Ultra, soft PureFox) and outputting audio via the usb port, the DAC is not detected by my device. If you connect via an active usb hub, then everything works. At the same time, there are no problems with Windows 10 on the PC.
There is no such problem with other DACs. Tempotec Sonata iDSD and Fosi K11R2R work without problems. It is probably that the port on the SBC doesn't have enough power.
The other 2 DAC's use external power.... Sonata has a battery and Fosi K11 has a power adapter. The Fosi Q6 does not. Hence the "power on the SBC doesn't have enough power". Most SBC run off of USB themselves, they don't have enough power to provide full power over USB to another device that is full size and USB power dependent. There is no such problem with other DACs. Tempotec Sonata iDSD and Fosi K11R2R work without problems.
There are two types of power supply used:
1. BRZHiFi 5V 1A
2. LA-520W 5V 2A Power Adapter
