This has gone live now. I'd be all over this if I hadn't bought a heavily discounted SoundBlaster X4 for gaming headset duties late last year.

"Likewise, note that you don't get any analog microphone monitoring (sidetone) for delay compensation, which can be important for some games/discord calls."

I bought the Soundbalster X4 because mic monitoring with my motherboard's CODEC was unusable due to latency. It's a shame that the K7 doesn't appear to offer this feature.

i really wanna know if this one better than Fiio K7 i have now, with balanced and unbalanced sockets, runs everything i throw at it atm, but his Fosi k7 looking so solid too, haha

If you're happy with the Fiio K7, the Fosi K7 seems like a nice option, but I don't think it's worth switching unless you're really into the gaming features.

more into quake & hunt showdown, less into CS, maybe it would be nice in hunt or quake, fiio k7 is still delivering well in quake and hunt at least, but i am less and less competitive with my age going up , haha

Impulsively bought Creative G8, as i found i a nice deal under 90,- instead of original price, with cirrus logic 43198 chip, initial thoughts, maybe it is warmer than Fiio k5/k7, still clear sounding, bass thumby as hell on high gain and higher volumes, after 3 headphones compared i liked combos like this: G8 + Sundara > X2hr > Virtuoso Pro Wired, for music of course, haven't tried gaming, but fell in love with G8 + sundara combo, headphone shaking from bassy songs, amazing :D
