Fosi Audio BT20A Pro Amplifier Review

Anyone have a Google Pixel 10 or 10 Pro and this Max edition? If so can you try unplugging your speakers, set the volume to 50% using your remote and then launch your Pixel 10's camera app and take a few rear facing photos and videos and report back if the volume knob "mysteriously" moves?

Help. I recently gave my sister my old 2016 iMac 27" for use with her Fosi BT-20a--which I also gave her. She has been using her iPhone with a Bluetooth connection to the Fosi without a problem--but i figured it would be better to stream music from a stationery device, etc. But when I tried to pair the iMac with the Fosi, the computer simply does not recognize the amp. I tried re-starting various audio and bluetooth processes on the computer and of course restarting and unplugging the amp to remove any previous BT pairings, but no luck. Also tried moving the imac physically closer to no avail. Any ideas?

That is unfortunate but since both the computer and the amp are stationary, I would just hard wire between the two of them. The headphone output on the Mac is likely better than a bluetooth connection, anyway.

That's a good idea, thank you, but they are not that close and hard wiring would be problematic. I believe I have eliminated distance as being an issue (they are much closer than 30 feet, although I'm tempted to get a BT amplifier.

The BT20A can only be discovered via Bluetooth so long as the front LED is lit up in red.

If the LED is blue, then that means that the BT20A is currently connected via Bluetooth and therefore not discoverable by other Host devices.

In that case, you must first disconnect/"forget" the BT20A on the device it's connected to, before you can pair it to your iMac.

Thank you, but i've made sure that all other BT devices are "forgotten" by the Fosi. Fosi has no trouble pairing with devices new to it and the Computer seems to be able to pair with keyboards, etc.

Before you get an amplifier move the amp next to the computer and see if it connects. What you describe does not seem like a poor connection that could be solved by a BT amplifier.
