Forum Downtime on Saturday

Hello everyone.

Our service provider will be moving us to a different server this coming Saturday at 12:00am (midnight) pacific time. It should take about an hour during which the site will be down.

Hoping that the infrequent downtimes we have get resolved with this move.

Not lately, but at one time the forum was unreachable for a half-hour or less late at night(early in the morning depending upon your perspective) on some days. I sort of figured the service provider was doing late night maintenance or some such.

But I sold my Oppo Blu-Ray player and all my DVDs in 2012, got store credit that I used to buy LPs.

Perhaps it is available on streaming?

Except for LPs, we're a "no physical media" house now. No CDs or DVDs....

P.S. My *wife* likes Celine Dion. I, on the other hand, objectively admit to her talent but would never admit to liking her.

The failures have been short lived. Usually a few minutes but enough to be annoying. For me anyways.

We are on a shared server with other forums so I am hoping it is one of them that is getting banged too hard.
