For sale a pair of white Kii THREE/ BXT active speakers, adverting on behalf of the owner who is upgrading to AsciLabs C8C/BXT.
The speakers were originally purchased new by ‘Streaky’ in 2021, and haven’t moved from his studio since my customer purchased them just a few weeks ago
Immaculate condition asking £14500.

I remember watching streaky make a video regarding these, if I only had £14.5k :( ….that’s a bit of a bargain for so much speaker

Even I have watched one or two of his films, Kii have ‘accommodation’ pricing for celebs.

These are in gloss white which used to be a ‘standard’ colour until Kii ( after eight years of production) concluded that gloss cost them too much , matt white is now the standard with gloss being one of their premium colours at a £1500 premium!

Current RRP for a pair of KII3/BXT in a ‘premium’ colour is £31089.

Kii ‘control’ is included.
Probably UK sales only, but thank you for the enquiries.

Instead of just acting like a simple box shifter, maybe you should inform this lost customer of yours that his current loudspeakers are good enough, and that he should instead focus on setup issues and room acoustics. It seems like he’s stuck in the “upgrade circle of confusion”, but the truth is that that circle will keep on spinning forever as long as no one gives him better suggestions. You could be that person, or you can keep on selling stuff to him.

but the price is good. They are around 19-20k € used. Maybe the new owner gets less confused.

That is a huge assumption without knowing any conversations between PURITE and the customer.

The chap has D&D 8Cs as well he isn’t my customer but approached me when he saw the measurements for AsciLabs new C8C .

Kii3/BXT bump, excellent condition purchased new by ‘Streaky’ in 2021, Kii ‘control’ is included.
£14500 when you consider ATC active 50’s are now £17k!…

Maybe he just wants to move from a super expensive speaker to something simpler, and much cheaper.

You are right, those second hand Kii speakers are way overpriced. No loudspeakers, no matter the brand, need to cost that much.

A better suggestion, for most, is to put more effort towards optimizing the speaker system they already have, and do something about their listening room acoustics. Those things will most likely be way larger upgrades to the sound quality, than constantly believing getting new speakers will somehow magically make a big different. :)

As I have mentioned the chap was not a previous customer of mine, I am not familiar with his room.
Having said that, contemporary constant directivity/ cardioid designs don’t require the passive absorption of traditional designs.

All loudspeakers sounds better in a well behaved and acoustically well-balanced environment where the listening room dosen’t interfere too much with the recorded information.

What is ‘well balanced’ for a traditional design with rough off-axis response is not applicable for a speaker whose off axis response mirrors its on axis.

Acoustically well-balanced means the room has an even decay time, and short enough not to overlap too long in the time domain. It's a room-related thing, and if you have issues with uneven or too-long decay times in the listening room, they will remain issues no matter what loudspeaker you put into that room.

Just to add the customer has only owned the Kiis/BXT for a few weeks, and they are set-up and available for evaluation,
