For Sale Mola-Mola Kaluga

They are both silent which is important for me because I can't bear any noise through the speakers.
Keith
As i understand from the email from Keith. The differences are very small. So small that switching between the two amps can be long enough to forget the differences.

Am i wrong Keith?

Under all circumstances he run it on Liszt Horn speakers. It is a 100dB/1W speaker. So any his or or other noise will be hear-able right away.

Sonny Hi, both amplifiers measure really well, and the horn loudspeakers I am using are a relatively easy load, I would expect both amplifiers to sound pretty similar .
Ideally one would be able to switch instantly between power amps, I really like both amplifiers, voices sound a little fuller with your design and the sound has an 'excitement' which I am enjoying.
I really don't like to use too flowery language to describe equipment, both are superb MPs and anyone would I am sure be happy with either.
I am keeping your though!
Very Best,
Keith

Any technical reason in the design differences that explain the 'fuller' voices/vocals?

Just been listening again, and I think I was mistaken, the Liszt are a semi active design, and one can vary the amount of bass , in the past different designs have required more or less bass depending upon their design .
I think it is just that difference ,I probably need to spend some more time adjusting the bass for the PHISON .
Keith

Yes that's correct, would it be the amps input sensitivity that affects the bass balance?
We had some hybrid amps here and they needed much more bass from the bass amps to balance the rest of the speaker.
I have been listening to the A120 all afternoon ,it is super. Everything sounds wonderful it is a lot heavier than the Molas though!
Thanks Sonny.

If you feed it from the preamp, then yes it is the gain of the power amp.

For the A2.120 it is 26.4dB and 32.4dB in bridge mode

Yes absolutely I have just adjusted the Liszt's bass output a little,
BW Keith

Well it sounds really good , I am very pleased with the A120.
Keith

The A120 has a RRP of Euros 9450.
Keith

Both PD2 and A120 are out on demonstration this week, I will write to Alan regarding a review.

The Molas are now £10k not sure if that is inc or exc. Brexit has been a real pita and it hasn't even started.

Bummer for you if you insist on importing EU goods (exchange rate ). The domestic scene is a little uninspiring though in the audio engineering innovation side of things.. Certainly from the sorts of companies that you seem intrested in.
