Hello, I recently downloaded Foodbar.
I found out that it's customizable and would like to make my own themes. Does anyone know how it's possbile and what language is used to program these?
If so I would gladly listen, even if it's just a guess.

Some people have created full themes in Javascript, thanks to Spider Monkey Panel f2k component:

Go DarkOne,it's the best by far and allows heavy mods:

(downside,it's for the 32-bit version only so far but it's the mature version IMO till all add-ons come to the 64-bit too)

(you also may want to correct the title)

Thanks for the links, i'll check them out as soon as I get the free time.
And thanks for spotting the mistake in the title :)

Since this thread is about foobar2000 and I didn't feel like creating a separate thread ... here goes ...

I have been wanting a replacement for VST Goniometer ... decided to try writing my own … finally I got it done with foo_uie_webview. Levaraging my multichannel peakmeter code, and some AI help from deepseek, it was done in pretty good time. :)

Nice eye candy.

Putting this out there in case you like to have this visual in foobar2000. Still early days ... may still have bugs ...

Enjoy!!

Prerequisite: foo_uie_webview component.

Creating a theme for foobar2000 does not require programming skill. The "Default UI" and alternative "Columns UI" are already highly customizable. I suggest you download and install a custom theme from the foobar2000 support site and take a look at how the author accomplished the design. This should give you a platform for your own creation.

P.S. If you are using the 64-bit build of foobar2000, you need to use themes designed for that version. Here's one:
