Foobar2000 & Tidal Static noise on some tracks but not others...

You wanted a screen shot of this ?

Can you explain what your looking at exactly I`m just curious...

Thank You it was the gain setting had to be set to none !
As it relates to ReplayGain:

With the normal default settings ReplayGain reduces the volume of most tracks. That's the only way to volume-match without clipping
because many quiet-sounding tracks have 0dB peaks. The louder tracks have to be lowered.

If you amplify with the preamp, some tracks will clip, with or without ReplayGain.

Normally the preamp "With ReplayGain" should be set to 0dB (no amplification or attenuation). The EQ should have its own preamp which may be needed (for attenuation).

The "Without ReplayGain" adjustment is because most of the ReplayGained tracks have been reduced and the non-tagged files will be louder (on average) than the tracks using ReplayGain. I still use Winamp and the default setting is -6dB. That seems about right... That is, on average ReplayGain seems to turn the volume-down by 6dB. Of course, a some will be boosted and some will be reduced more.

I use ReplayGain (or Apple Soundcheck on my antique iPod) and it works well for me. Some people are not happy with the lower volume but if you've got enough analog gain you can go as loud as you want.

All of the popular streaming services apply their own volume-matching (AKA "loudness normalization" which is different from regular peak normalization.)

I'll tell after you do something for me.
Choose an area in the graph or the whole thing with the mouse, go to "Analyze" on top and hit "Measure RMS" .
Show us this values.

Edit: you can also hit "find clipping" under the same tab (even if it's obvious by the chart)

Mind you, the specifics of that would depend heavily upon your music collection. If it's all pop/rock from like the late '90s onwards, you may get away with +5...6 dB. By contrast, those also into their Mahler symphonies may find as low as -8 dB warranted if levels are supposed to be as even as possible, although -6 may be a plenty sensible option if "avoid clipping" is enabled.

Thanks but Foobar2000 only needed to turn off gain setting for all.

Know it's clean, also have the EQ set to flat.

Also on other apps I need to turn off volume matching or it affects the purity of the music frequencies.
That just means some tracks are a bit louder than others no an issue for me as I'm after source playback without it being adulterated so every step along that road helps.

I'll take a look at the true peak scanner & amplifier DSP APP's for Foobar2000, looks Interesting thanks for sharing!
