Have installed the WASAPI plugin? If not please do so.

And change the output setting accordingly....DAC/pc soundcard/onboard audio etc.

Hi,
Which DAC?
How is the quality of the file you're trying to play?
How is configured Windows? 48kHz?

Driver issue perhaps?

(I had a similar issue with Sabaj D5. Uninstalled foobar and installed xmos driver from their site..and reinstalling foobar solved the problem. The DAC was then recognised as usb dac....previously it was recognised as speaker in sound setting.

Was not sure how it got corrected.

WASAPI shared defaulted to whatever frequency i chosed in the windows sound setting. Avoided the WASAPI shared plugin in the reinstall. Btw I now defaults to portable installation of foobar)

Check with other players like MusicBee/AIMP etc with WASAPI exclusive setting.

I guess you are not setting resampler?

Me too, I had the same kind of problems with the FX-Audio Dac X7. Xmos Driver showed more sample rate options.

The DAC seems embarrassed with MQA. Can you try with WAV and various sample rate FLAC, mp3 and report?

At this point, the best would be to send a message to SMSL IMHO. The unit behaves strangely.

You mean Windows instead of Tidal?
If you have set 352800 in the Win audio panel and you disabled exclusive access , this is normal behaviour.
