Driver issue perhaps?
(I had a similar issue with Sabaj D5. Uninstalled foobar and installed xmos driver from their site..and reinstalling foobar solved the problem. The DAC was then recognised as usb dac....previously it was recognised as speaker in sound setting.
Was not sure how it got corrected.
WASAPI shared defaulted to whatever frequency i chosed in the windows sound setting. Avoided the WASAPI shared plugin in the reinstall. Btw I now defaults to portable installation of foobar)
Check with other players like MusicBee/AIMP etc with WASAPI exclusive setting.
I guess you are not setting resampler?
