This may be old news for most, but I’m just now putting my studio and running into a roadblock. I can’t get seem to get a line level signal from the USB-B output of the Focusrite 6i6 onto my thunderbolt only 2917 MacBook Pro and into the latest version of Audicity. The connection from the 6i6 to the computer is USB-B to USB, then adapted from USB to thunderbolt for the computer’s input. In System Preferences, when Scarlet 6i6 is selected in show an incoming signal, but when I attempt to record that signal, nothing happens. I think I’ve looked at all the focusrite preferences, and am wondering why the DAC is not being recognized.
