Focal ST6, is it okay about diffraction?

This is last design of Focal Solo6be of SM6 line.
This line up is renewaled recently as ST6 line.

But how do you guys think about around the tweeter design? Is it okay about diffraction?

I think it would have to be measured. The manufacturer usually has reasons (often unknown to us) for their design choices and design compromises. And there are LOTS of choices, tradeoffs, and compromises in speaker design.

...I find it amusing that monitors rarely have full-grills but sometimes there is protection for the tweeter.

It does seem odd. Like are people more likely to poke tweeters than woofers, or damage to the dustcaps is not as likely...?

That Beryllium label is an aesthetic fail for me, especially with that heavy font. And then the tweeter recess and those speckled/marble speaker cones.

A metallic dome tweeter is very easy to deform by a stray bump since the material is so thin, then you're SOL which is why many have their own grills.

made worse by the part where beryllium is pretty brittle, and also isn't exactly a good thing to breathe in.

Not many reviews of these yet. I’m interested in the Solo6 ST6 vs the Neumann KH120.
Has anyone tested both of these?

I don't think they are comparable. Not tested the Focal, but the 120 is a small monitor with grown up bass at low levels. Can't compare the bass from the 5" woofer of the Neumann with the 6" one from Focal. ST6's competition is KH150, not 120. Besides, the price is also double for Focal.

Yes I realise the Focal Solo6 ST6 is a slightly bigger and higher price tag to the KH120’s.
I’m just considering potential upgrade candidates from the KH120 around £2000 per pair.

Focal a upgradé le tweeter avec chambre arrière IAL, ainsi que le woofer. Plus gros moteur 40 % puissance magnétique et excursion, et travail sur la suspension pour réduire la distorsion (TMD) comme sur trio6 trio11.
Cabinet plus forte épaisseur.
je voulais choisir PSI AUDIO A17M (ou A21) suisse made pour la technologie de mise en phase analogique et contre réaction donnant effet WOW, mais trop cher pour moi. FOCAL 2000e la paire ici en magasin France.
