I ran the room correction again after installing the panels. It also took another measurement after applying the filter which I didnt screemshot but it confirmed the estimate pretty good, that 50hz spike was gone and the rest looked more or less the same.
EDIT:
After some listening tests it sounds its best now. With sub at 50hz there was an audible lack of bass, I think I mostly fixed that part by playing with the subs volume control though. I can confirm that the panels didnt do much with the low end but they nicely fixed those echoing brightness sparks.
I now have a very nice straight line from 30-90 hz and it makes a big difference. Basically jus reran auto calibration with sub at 80 a couple times at different volume levels on the sub until it gave me that.
I feel like I have just the right amoung of bass now at all volume levels. I was never a fan of big gut punching rumble bass so this is perfect for me. Theres no boominess or audible subwoofer rumbling, the MLs are just nicely filled up and underlined with a tad of extra bass. Male voices and deep horns sound a lot better now and the ear fatiguing brightness was removed by the panels.
For the price I paid Im pretty happy. Can recommend ML B1s and an entry level sub like my edifier T5 can sound pretty nice when you are willing to do some tinkering.
