I'm a professional journalist, and such an accusation against a professional would render any chance of employment, zero. It's a slur. I hope it wsan't intended as such. This was a first try, it's in the title. It's empirical. I haven't touched anything.

All the poster is saying is that you clicked the left panel in Audacity (the one that says the track name, "mute" "solo" "effects" at the top), in the top image and not in the bottom image. This changes the colour-rendering (looks more "hot" in spectrogram and background goes darker blue in waveform), which makes it hard to compare the two images.
