FIR for hypex fusion plate!

Guitar, yeah. I know you can switch it on and off, but was wondering if it could be made low enough to not make toggling back and forth necessary. Also considering Neumann (appear to be the winners on low-latency linear phase) or Genelec, but I could maybe get more bass + save some money going DIY
OK. That makes sense. I don't currently have my FIR filter speakers (they're being used in a studio) so I can't measure them. But if the numbers above are correct, then that causes some problems. 24ms is way too much to play live instruments through. Even 8ms is about on the edge of what you want to play with. I use non-FIR filters for anything I play guitar through. I would just use regular filters for that.
Maybe it should be a different thread here, but are you using them to only play guitar through or are you using them as studio monitors also? I recently made a coaxial wedge to play my guitar through because I use an amp modeler and its really cool.

Was looking for double duty yeah. A mono cube or wedge is an interesting idea though - will think on it, thanks.

FYI- I would only use the wedge for guitar. It gives the sensation of actually playing through an amp. For mixing and such you will definitely want some better speakers. I use my DIY Purifi and Bliesma T34B bookshelves and they're amazing for it. I'm happy to share the design specs if you're interested.

I would happily accept any any design info you're willing to share!
